River is a Wonderful and an exciting experience which anyone can have in their life time. The Tsunami museum is located in 3.5 km north to Hikkaduwa. The 2004 tsunami hit Hikkaduwa and Sri Lanka. The story is told through photos and newspaper features that day. Everything is displayed there so you can find out all about the tsunami.

Hikkaduwa beach is one of the most attractive beaches of south cost in Sri Lanka. It is so attractive and explorable to tourists. Because of the natural sea turtles. You can see many varieties of eye-catching sea turtles. It is one of the major reason for the numerous tourist that can be seen around Hikkaduwa area.
 
Moonstone mine
 
Meetiyagoda Moonstone is the Sri Lanka‘s largest moonstone mine. It is used to extract a rare economically specific stone owns called “moonstones” and it is located in Meetiyagoda which is in only 4 km distance from 10 km north of Hikkaduwa. Meetiyagoda is well known for its moonstone mines. Sales of jewellery are the main purpose of moonstones mine. The finest and rarest moonstones have an almost crystal clear, colorless body with a strong blue shine. Moonstones at Meetiyagoda is one of the best-known primary gem deposits in Sri Lanka.
 
Galle Fort
 
Galle is situated in the south coast of Sri Lanka. Galle is a tourist destination. It is a very most picturesque city in Sri Lanka. You can see Old Dutch fort there. Galle is famous for this fort. The Old building are now turn into luxury shops, pubs, hotels, villas and rest room which owns a blessing atmosphere. There is a Rampart which is surrounded the Galle-fort with great view toward the glorious beach. A walk on the rampart will give you a bunch of delightful emotions and the best time for it is at the evening.  Also, the scenic view of White Light House and Clock tower are great places to visit in the Galle Fort.
